RW682 - Yahoo Serious Rewatch - Reckless Kelly

In this episode of The Yahoo Serious Rewatch, Cory and Eoghan are bulletproof in tinsel town as they discuss Reckless Kelly.

Trailer:

Our Favourite Trivia:

The film was financed by Warner Bros, Village Roadshow and the Australian Film Finance Corporation. Serious used many of the same key creatives he had on Young Einstein.

Reckless Kelly was filmed in several Australian locations, including Sydney, Port Stephens and Broken Hill in New South Wales, and the Gold Coast in Queensland. A major set for a mock hotel was built and filmed at Tomaree Headland in Port Stephens. The film was also shot in the United States, specifically Hollywood and Las Vegas.

On a budget of A$20 million it made A$5.4 million.

When Sir John is about to shoot Kelly, Kelly says "Such is life." These were the famous last words of the real Ned Kelly.

After Ned finishes his date with Robin, he parks his motorbike on the Hollywood walk of fame dedicated to the famous Australian actor Errol Flynn.
