Synopsis:
Joey attends a business party as a favor to Pacey, who ends up flirting with a very available and very flirty blonde. After Joey witnesses their behavior, she asks to go home, which is fine with Pacey, as he has just gotten the blonde’s invitation to get a little something something going on. Pacey begins driving her home but stops off to pick something up at the Kmart: Laundry detergent is what he tells Joey, but in reality he’s picking up a pack of condoms for his upcoming tryst. Joey ends up using the restroom, but requires Pacey to stand outside because the door doesn’t lock and she fears someone walking in on her. As they go to leave, they discover that they’re locked in, the store having closed.
They try to get in touch with the police, but are stuck waiting for a callback. As Joey gets cold, Pacey offers her his jacket to stay warm, and she finds the condoms in his pocket, and is aghast to learn the real reason they stopped at the store. They begin to argue about sex and Pacey says he doesn’t want to talk bout sex with her, and it comes out that he is hurt that she didn’t seem to feel as bad about their breakup as she had about other relationships of hers like Dawson. Before they can go further, the police finally call back and let them know that they aren’t exactly a high priority right now given the weather outside and others who need greater help.
As Joey wanders around the store, Pacey pages her to electronics where had recorded an apology to her and proposes they make the best out of the situation, offering her pajamas, and offering her the chance to propose something for him, to which she ends up getting shaving supplies to shave his goatee. Pacey is surprised and begins running from her as the two playfully chase each other until Joey finally utilizes a ruse to get close to him. Having surrendered, they retire to the restroom where Pacey readies himself to shave, but Joey relents, letting him keep the facial hair, saying she just wanted to see his face again.
The two end up playing board games as Joey asks him if he’s truly happy, explaining that she has always assumed that change is bad, but that right now she feels ok and that whatever is in her future, even if it is bad, not knowing about it, might be the good part of it all. Pacey doesn’t outright say he is happy, but says how could he not be happy, given that he has everything he wanted in life except for one thing. When she asks him what that thing is, he responds by making them nachos.
They watch the movie version of the book Joey was supposed to read but Pacey gets bored and wants to do something else. Joey once again suggests the shaving idea to which he relents and allows her to shave away his goatee. As Joey looks at his face, looking just as it did back in the day, the two end up kissing. Pacey says he has been wanting to kiss her all night ever since she showed up in her dress for the party, even when they were yelling at each other. He tries to explain that he has felt lately that she was the one of the few things if not the only thing that ever made total and complete sense in his life. Joey is shocked and asks if she can sleep on this new information and the two curl up in the camping section of the store.
When they awake in the morning, the employee who talked with Pacey when he was buying the condoms the previous night, tells them that this isn’t cool and to get out before the manager comes around. He asks if Joey is his girlfriend, to which Joey responds that they just sleep with each other occasionally. As they check out, paying for all the stuff they used and ate, the cashier asks if they found everything they were looking for, with Pacey responding that they found what they needed, which is just as important, and the two walk out of the store joking about letting Joey drive his car.
Jud Tylor is credited as (no joke) Sure Thing. She is rumored to be starring in an upcoming movie called All In Her Head (No details yet on IMDb, but the website for the movie says it is about a woman who suffers from chronic migraines which manifest themselves as a monster that phsychologically and physically terrorizes her. The tagline is: Bringing awareness to chronic conditions through a short HORROR film. Last year she was the lead in Cult Cartel (again, no details, no website), and the year before she was a lead in Magic Max (an 11 year old who loses his parents has to go live with his immature Uncle, a second rate magician who now needs to grow up and be a father figure and find love while doing it.) Also, in 2020 she was one of the leads in Psycho Pray Planner. Before those, she was a lead in a Hallmark type movie called Defending Santa (2003) starring Dean Cain. She was a supporting cast member in Tom Hanks’ Charlie Wilson’s War, and played Suzanne Somers in the unauthorized Story of Three’s Company. She’s also had various other roles in movies and TV series like Mad Men, Smallville, Seven Days, The Outer Limits, and That 70’s Show among others. She did play Snow White in a short called Cinderella: Intervention (fellow Disney characters try to get Cinderella to realize she has a sex addiction).
George was played by Noah Segan, who has a lot of background roles, and extra parts. He’s even said to be in many Rian Johnson films as such characters.
The cashier was Lucia Scarano, who appeared in Spider-man: No Way Home as a bystander.

Synopsis:
Joey shows up at Pacey’s, asking if he regrets what he told her, and he counters by asking if she regrets hearing it. Joey says that it’s something that was already on her mind and tells him about how when she was younger she would cheat when reading choose your own adventure books, always trying to make the right choices to get a happy ending, alluding to her not wanting to make a wrong decision in her real life. Pacey tells her that he wants to be sure that they’ve grown enough to be together without having to go back and replay their history, wanting to look ahead to their future instead. Pacey moves in to kiss her but Joey backs away and suggests they go grab some pizza together to which Pacey agrees.
Dawson heads back to Capeside High at Mr. Gold’s request to talk with his current film students, and ends up showing him the film he made with Todd. It comes out that the students have seen Dawson’s film Creek Days, and have many questions for him, most notably one student named George who asks Dawson to watch his film, to which Dawson agrees. After seeing it, Dawson is not sure what to say which George takes as a negative, but Dawson eventually says that he did a good job, offering some minor criticisms, but tells him that the stuff that can;’t be taught is all in his movie. George in turn tells him that Dawson has heart, something that not too many people have.
Joey heads over to babysit Harley at Mr. Hetson’s request who has voiced concern about his daughter and boys. She ends up catching a boy, Patrick, who had been hiding in Harley’s closet, and sends them both downstairs to study. Patrick begins to flirt with Joey much to Harley’s and Joey’s dismay. Eventually it all becomes too much for Harley and she yells at Patrick and retreats to her room. While Joey tries to get Harley to come out of her room. Patrick continues his flirting until Joey shuts him down and tells him to go home and think of some way to apologize to his girlfriend. After he leaves Harley comes out and the two talk about young relationships and how many choices are motivated by fear during that time but now she is able to forgive herself for the mistakes of yesterday.
Pacey meanwhile arrives in Capeside after receiving a call from Doug that his father is in the hospital. The two have a bit of a spat about the room their dad is in, and how Doug has been busy trying to calm down their mother and sisters, but eventually Pacey gets in to see him. Mr Witter is very pleased to see Pacey, even asking him to stay when the doctor tells him he should have just one visitor at a time. Mr. Witter talks to Pacey with a new profound feeling of respect at all he’s accomplished, and even shows concern that he left his job to get there, but Pacey tells him it's not a problem because he is his father. He tells his son that he’s glad he grew up to be a good guy after everything he did, and wishes he had told him more often he knew he would turn out good.
After they visit Pacey finds Doug but Doug doesn’t want to go in and the two begin fighting about their lives and how Doug was here taking care of the family and how he resents Pacey’s life and him coming in as he does with gifts and money and making people forget that he’s normally the failure. Pacey is aghast at the revelation and asks why it isn’t possible for Doug to see him as actually having grown up, that maybe it’s a good thing that their father is happy to know that the son he ignored always is not holding a grudge against him. Doug, almost in tears, walks away.
Later, as Doug sits in the room with his father, Pacey stops in to say he’s going to head out but will stop by in the morning. Mr. Witter thanks Pacey for getting him into the private hospital room, but Pacey lies, telling him that it was Doug who managed it. Pacey heads over to Dawson’s to check in on Gail but runs into Dawson and the two talk about the day’s events, and reflect on where they are in life now, and wonder about what they would do differently if they could do it all again. Together the two old friends head inside to hang out some more.
Back in Joey’s dorm room, she calls Pacey and gets his voicemail, leaving him a message saying that she’s been having a hard time figuring out their problem, but that maybe that’s because it's something they need to figure out together. She promises not to keep thinking about everything that has happened in their past, but instead look at everything that could happen.
Patrick was played by Taylor Handley. In 2007 he was a lead in the series Hidden Palms, starring Amber Heard (a rebellious teenager moves with his family to Palm Springs). He was one of the main cast members with Dennis Quaid, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Michael Chiklis in Vegas (2012) (Ralph Lamb, a former MP for the US Army, becomes sheriff. His brother, Jack, and his son, Dixon, are deputized. Meanwhile, Vincent Savino comes from Chicago to Vegas to run The Savoy hotel and casino). Back around the same period he led the movie Channeling (a drama centered on people who seek validation by broadcasting their lives to as big an audience as possible). In 2017 he was a lead in the series APB (After witnessing a violent crime, a tech billionaire purchases a troubled police precinct, rebooting it as a private police force). He most recently was one of the main cast in Jeremy Renner’s Mayor of Kingstown (a series about power brokers tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry). He did get his start in the industry in Michael Keaton’s Jack Frost playing Rory which coincidentally also starred Mika Boomer.
George was played by Lukas Behnken. Most of his credits are secondary cast roles like Gray’s Anatomy, Cold Case, Saving Grace, 7th Heaven, and 6 episodes of the series Everwood. Cory and Nathan have seen him before in Not Another Teen Movie where he played the coveted role of “white guy.” The most recent bigger production he’s been in is a series called The Well (a withdrawn bachelor, suddenly becomes plagued by recurring black outs that appear to be transporting him to a mysterious location, he enlists the help of an interested neighbor girl and an old high school science wiz to discover the cause which stems back to an experiment from the 1940’s).
tachyon says: This is looking good for the P/Jo'ers!!! Hopefully tptb will sit up and take notice of what brings in the ratings... They've gone from a 4 share to an 8 to 10 share. It's all good :-)

DAWSON'S CREEK placed #3 in its time period in adults 18-34 (2.8/8), persons 12-34 (2.6/8), women 18-34 (3.7/10) and women 12-34 (3.6/10). DAWSON'S scored better numbers than it did in the parallel week a year ago in all 18-34, 12-34 and 18-49 demos, including +17% in adults 18-34 (2.8/8).”
Mac counters with: Let's hope the producers realise that a Dawson / Joey finale would push the
ratings through the roof. Remember this is the finale coming up and there would be a greater sense of formal completeness with Dawson and Joey walking into the sunset. And as for the Idea that Dawson is gay: how ridiculous. Just because a man has some sensitivity and is secure enough not to be a macho man doesn't equal his being gay. Let's just hope that K W writes the D/J ending I'm sure most DC fans want: destiny finally unites them.

How the Brandon/Kelly/Steve/Val/blah blah blah thing coincides with Dawson/Joey/Pacey/Eddie/blah blah blah I have no clue, but I have a feeling that what was in the beginning is not going to be in the end. (even though david/donna ended up together in 90210...but their relationship was way more consistent than any other tv/teen relationship I
can ever remember).
I think the best formal completion this show can hope for is everyone together and happy for eachother. Now if Pacey and Joey end up together that would be the icing on the cake...
I'd almost rather have Jack and Jen finally in a relationship then worry about Dawson/Joey/Pacey Just seems like them two really need something more then we've seen them get...
And no. Dawson isn't sensitive and secure; he's a weenie. I'm glad he was doing 1 chick, dumped her over the phone and then scored with Joey...thats about the balliest thing he's done.
[On Dawson and Joey reuniting for the finale]: It'd be a really lame way to end the show. They had their sex0r...and well there is no spark with them. Depending on how they end the series one may be brought back up...but the only one that really had a relationship (one that lasted with meaning) with Joey was Pacey; that's indisputable.

So far NOTHING from you about what was posted a few days ago...that JVB said that he gets Joey in the end. Although I can't say I'm surprised...color me disappointed because of the way things are looking right now between Joey and Pacey. They work, they sizzle and they plain click. Dawn agrees: Well put, Alberich!! I was thinking the very same thing over tachyon's silence on this matter!!! The suspense is killing me!!! As you said, I also have not found and evidence to support this Dawson-Joey reunion in the end but I would still like to hear it--something, anything--from tachyon!!!! I doesn't make sense to start Joey and Pacey off on this "new start" and, with only 9 new episodes left, ge them together and break them up and pair her with Dawson!!! Well, at least that's how I am rationalizing it in my head for now to keep myself sane!!

One source is saying that there is quite alot of talk about marriage in upcoming episodes. Between Pacey and Joey. However, what this means, I don't know...And my source doesn't really know either.
From what I've been told, D/Jo are over. Dead. Finished. The only way I can see them reuniting is in the season finale which from what Katie said in an interview will jump ahead 4 years. So much time will have passed since #622, therefore anything could have happened. Yet, all the sources seem to be pretty convinced that P/Jo are still going to be together and that D/Jo
are over. Although they don't have any actual concrete evidence of this. It's simply a gut feeling that they have. That's all I have to say on the matter. And unless something of earth shattering importance comes up, I probably won't be posting here a great deal.

rolling...I think we can all assume that you have a life, as we all do, and you aren't around 24/7.
However, we can all see that (at least in the past) you've posted pretty regularly and, in addition to that, we can all see that since this topic was raised, you've posted on other matters (Eddie), but not this one. We--or at least *I*--just thought you were trying to keep some suspense going!!

It just seems that every time I come here someone (nobody in particular) seems to be begging for spoilers. There's one thing I dislike, and that is people begging for spoilers. I come here for a bit of light relief when I get sick of my research ... But whatever.
If I had anything to post, I would post it, as I've said in the past. I don't get new spoilers every day, and my sources don't either. When we hear something, we're happy, and we'll pass it on. But if we don't hear anything, we sit and discuss what we already know and speculate on what
might happen. We don't go begging our sources for details. As some have learned the hard way, doing that often leads to sources dropping off the face of the planet. I'm not saying that I'll be doing that, but why don't we try discussing what is already known rather than continually asking for new stuff?

The conversation then evolved into a typical 2022 shouting match between Dawn and Dandelion about who was actually being rude. More P+J = fantastic. Nothing beats the plays they make off of each other. She's the only person that can get Pacey to open up, and he's a great character; hence them together.
While I do agree that it is quite dramatic, I liked pacey with the video camera myself...it got a real smile from joey.
Yeah...shit, she got PJ's and slippers, razor, shaving cream, all their snacks, the movie, Pacey's bruins sweatshirt, and whatever else they made use of...it adds up!
Damn, it was dream come true for me. Last week and this week have been fantastic episodes. Granted if they do another all joey/pacey episode again its a problem, but this episode gave closure to the end of season 3, the mid-season, and season 4 that was never there before. It also opened up some new doors, but damn...we got the truth out of Paceys mouth to Joeys

AW says: Anyway, I loved it. I will admit that I haven't watched very regularly since about the middle of last season (I can not *stand* Audrey and couldn't start watching this season when I found out the opener would be of J/D having sex), but this was the best episode since Season 3, IMO. It made me think of the episode when Pacey calls Bessie to have her call Joe to pick up milk, and she finds Pacey at the wall. And I did love the nod to the boat.... sigh. I'm so happy.
And you know what? I actually almost cried, and realized I was holding my breath after Joey shaved Pacey (thank the good lord!) and they kissed. Oh, I do hope that they end up together... and I hope DC doesn't go the Felicity route, but if it be so, I would only hope for a *good* ending this time.

Rob Jobner is a Doey lover: It doesn't really matter what happens in the finale everything after
season two was way off beam anyway. Admitted there were some good shows but the logical development of the higher level plotlines was silly in the extreme. I think there are quite a few gushing little girls with posters of Pacey on their walls wishing they were Joey but the logic of the show demands Dawson links with Joey. The shows central relationship is Dawson and Joey anything else is ludicrous and amateurish but having said that there a lot of wobbly scripts starting at season three. As for Pacey he is a far more interesting character in the early seasons and he actually has some character unlike the cardboard cutout he becomes in later episodes. One of the poorest lines of development was breaking him up with Andie that way, laughable really.
Consider this: because the scriptwriters go with a Joey/Mr X finale we don't have to accept that. Writers cop out all the time; just look at Henry James, for example, with Portrait of Lady, spineless in the extreme. So Kev, there is only one acceptable ending: Dawson and Joey
anything else misses the point.

Dawson and Joey. Period. Why did most of us get hooked on this show? Because the whole first season was about Dawson and Joey and our need for them to "hook up." For this show to end with Joey ending up with someone else makes the last 6 years redundant. The best relationship for Pacey was Andie. Unfortunately she chose to leave the show.
I take no rumors or spoilers for truth at this point in time. The ending of this show is only known to a few. Let's just watch and enjoy it while it lasts.

Synopsis:
Audrey complains about not wanting to go to rehab, but Joey gets her out the door and heading for a flight to LA. Later, Eddie comes to the dorm room to say goodbye, as he is headed to California for the school that Hetson recommended him for, along with a possible scholarship. However, Joey is all business and thoroughly finished with him, when Audrey’s mother calls to tell her that Audrey never made it to LA. With Eddie’s help, they find Audrey in a hotel room, shacked up with a guy named Bob and obvious signs of alcohol and drug use.
Joey and Eddie decide to drive Audrey to LA themselves with Bob tagging along at Audrey’s insistence.
In LA, Dawson begins the reshoots for the movie, but is met with resistance by the DP who continually argues and shoots down Dawson’s ideas. Natasha also refuses to follow the new scenes, showing gratuitous nudity and a long winded speech written for her character. At his wits end, Dawson tries to get in touch with Todd to no avail, which leaves him feeling sick to his stomach, his dreams so close to becoming dashed.
As Joey and crew begin their trip westward, we are treated to literal fart jokes and various montages of the foursome mugging for a camera that none of the occupants actually seem to have. When they stop, Audrey stands on Eddie’s car and argues with him before insulting Joey, and then driving off and ripping out the hose from the gas pump. Eddie and Joey try hitching for a ride, and talk about how Audrey doesn’t seem to want her help with her problem. Eddie tells her he is along for this ride because it lets him spend more time with her, and that he loves her and is sorry for his big screw up. Joey says that she is having a hard time letting Eddie go, but still can’t reconcile the fact that he took off without telling her.
CJ and Jen hatch a plan to hook Grams up with CJ’s Uncle Bill, due to the fact that Clifton and Grams broke up after he wanted her to convert to his religion. The date begins with Bill showing off his arrogant side by calling Grams a broad, and then proclaiming loudly that he sees a pubic hair in his soup. He then tells Grams she’s a downer, and should go see her doctor to remove the icecap wedged up her butt. Jen thinks Grams is hurt, but she actually starts laughing. Later, Bill asks Grams if she would like to take a walk and the two head off. Jen comments on how she wishes she could handle her own love life this well, and CJ tells her if he had known her weeks ago like he knows her now, he couldn’t bear the thought of hurting her. He goes to kiss her but Jen pulls away. She then says PSYCH and kisses him deeply.
Dawson appears to get sick, and is confronted by Natasha who takes a small bit of pity and tells him he needs to take charge and not let people walk all over him, advice he takes to heart when he sees Heather, who admonished him earlier for falling behind schedule. Dawson quickly steps up and fires the argumentative DP, and tells Natasha to read the lines the way they are scripted. He suggests if anyone else doesn’t want to follow his instructions, they should leave now. Heather approaches, telling Dawson that he has no idea how close he was to being fired. Later, Natasha confesses she actually got turned on by his attitude, and the two end up spending the night together. Dawson reveals that he is fine with the occasional tryst, not letting himself be wrapped up in his head, and they agree to see each other again someday.
Meanwhile, Audrey and Bob are drunk at a bar when another patron starts hitting on her. She jokes with him for a while before he asks to show her his truck outside. She goes, but then wants to go back inside when he starts to press her for kisses, sex, and starts getting aggressive. Audrey hauls off and kicks in his ol bait and tackle, and starts to beat on him until Joey and Eddie show up and pull her away. Audrey decides that she is finally ready to go to rehab.
As they drop Audrey and Bob off, Audrey tells Eddie that he will go down in the books as one of Joey’s great loves. She promises Joey she’ll get herself under control, and try to figure out why she’s so unhappy. Joey tells Eddie that as much as she wants him to come back to Boston, he deserves to explore this new world that is opening up to him. He tells her that he doesn’t want to say goodbye, and that they should make a plan to meet again sometime, perhaps even in Paris. She leaves him, saying that he just might be the sweetest and nicest surprise that has ever happened to her, and that she loves him too, and will continue doing so as long as she can. The two hug and then passionately kiss for a good long while, perhaps too long for two people breaking up.
Character actor Geoffrey Lewis played Uncle Bill. His career started back in the 70’s on shows like Bonanza, Mannix, and Mission Impossible, and movies like The Culpepper Cattle Company (a young farm boy who always wanted to be a cowhand talks a tough trail boss into hiring him on a cattle drive), Macon County Line (a vengeful Southern sheriff is out for blood after his wife is brutally killed by a pair of drifters), Every Which Way But Loose (the San Fernando Valley adventures of trucker turned prize-fighter Philo Beddoe and his pet orangutan Clyde), and the sequel Any Which Way You Can. He was in Little House on the Prairie, The A-Team, Magnum PI, The Golden Girls, Fletch Lives, Maverick, Walker: Texas Ranger, Webster, Murder, She Wrote, and The X-Files. The last thing he did was playing Len Harding in High & Outside: A Baseball Memoir about a baseball player who refuses to believe his career is over and takes desperate measures to keep it alive. It also stars Ernie Hudson. He died of a heart attack in 2015.
Seth Rogen played Bob, or in other words, himself. He got his start in Freaks & Geeks, with Busy Phillips, and also began his friendship with James Franco there. He worked on the Ali G Show with Sasha Baron Cohen as a writer. A few of his hit movies are The 40 Year Old Virgin, Superbad, and Pineapple Express. He did star as a superhero in the Green Hornet, and has done a number of voice acting roles such as Invincible, Horton Hears A Who and Kung Fu Panda. More recently he was the voice of Pumba on the live action Lion King, guested in a few episodes of The Boys as @Sir-Cums-A-Lot779, and was in the Pam and Tommy Hulu series playing the lead antagonist, Rand.
DP Frank was Jon Stafford. He’s best known for playing Doc Jay in Full Metal Jacket, although he’s not at the top of the supporting cast list (all his IMDB pics are from that movie). He was a lead in Crossing Line with Rick Hearst (a rich kid, with a fondness for fast bikes, is blamed when a motorcycle accident puts his best friend in a coma), and a supporting cast member in Pieces of Talent (David, a local filmmaker, becomes obsessed with Charlotte, an aspiring actress working as a waitress, and begins filming a gory masterpiece). Most of his roles are in single episodes of shows or below the fold roles in movies. He did appear in Surface as a bar patron and Krienke.
Dueling Overs may be impossible to light, but in my many years of film school and in depth analysis of films and filmmaking, I can safely tell you that there is no such thing.
When Joey and Eddie discuss their relationship while hitchhiking, I believe they slip in a soft instrumental version of Just Like a Pill by P!nk

Synopsis:
As Pacey purchases a new big screen TV in preparation for a party he’s hosting, he and Joey share a moment where she commends him on how far he has come since high school. Back at the apartment, Jen tells the gang that she’s bringing CJ to the party and asks Pacey to play nice. Emma returns, and like Joey and Jen, is seemingly unimpressed by the huge purchase. Emma however reveals her own new acquisition, a fiancé by the name of Gus.
At the rehab center in LA, Dawson visits Audrey, who seems to be doing well. He then notices Toni Stark, who is a well known Hollywood producer with a connection to Spielberg. Audrey and Dawson catch up on things, but she encourages him to go and approach Toni, which he does, however he gets his butt handed to him as she snaps at him for trying to talk business with someone who is currently out of said business.
Jen invites CJ to attend Pacey’s party with her and he is rightfully nervous about it, given their past interaction. David notes that Jen seems nervous too, but she just says she’s playing the clean and sober role tonight, while David says it’s ok with CJ if people drink around him. Jen thanks Pacey for being okay with CJ, and he says that once he offered CJ a drink they seemed to be good. Jen begins to worry that CJ has started to drink.
Meanwhile, Joey has decided to let her hair down and starts having some drinks like there’s no tomorrow. Getting drunk quickly, she starts to spread personal stories from her friends’ lives, including the death of Abby Morgan and Jack’s moment of arousal when Joey was drawing him years ago. Pacey apologizes for not knowing about CJ’s former alcoholism, and pulls Joey away. She laments on how everyone is seemingly working out a romance except her. Pacey suggests that maybe she’s just so amazing, that she makes guys want to be better men.
Jack and Emma discuss her predicament in where she stopped attending school because the band was starting to take off. This means that she doesn’t have a visa to stay in the country anymore, hence the need to get married to Gus, a lazy, oblivious, and rude slob.
Meanwhile, Audrey pulls Dawson into a therapy session that Toni went into, hoping that it’ll give him a chance to talk with her more. The counselor however starts in on them, asking about why they’re here. Audrey comes up with a cliche story told in a terrible accent, which Dawson plays along with. During her story, Audrey does actually reveal things that have affected her, and she starts to see where she may need help. Toni calls them out on the ruse, saying that she is all for making fun of therapy, but would like to get the meeting over with, resulting in the counselor sending Dawson and Audrey out.
CJ and Jen argue over the drink situation as he reveals he hasn’t actually had a drink, but has been considering it for an hour, saying that maybe he has been too hard on himself. They end up letting it go for the moment, and start playing spin the bottle with Drunk Joey and friends. When the bottle ends up landing on them, they kiss but begin full on making out and heading to a bedroom to lay some pipe amidst everyone’s coats. After they’re finished, he tells her he just wanted to seem normal tonight, and she tells him that she just wanted to do the same and not drink too, and after a good discussion they decide to get up and get wasted.
The spin the bottle game continues with the bottle landing on Joey during Pacey’s turn, but before they can kiss, Gus stands on top of Pacey’s TV and destroys it. A disgusted Emma takes the moment to break off the engagement, and kicks Gus out. David and Jack talk about the situation, with David saying that there isn’t much Jack can do to help without marrying her himself. Jack actually proposes to Emma later, stating how he could be the ultimate husband and wingman for her. She considers it, but decides that she couldn’t do that to an actual friend and will figure out the mess herself.
Back at rehab, Dawson prepares to leave and Audrey thanks him for coming. She admits she actually did get some help from the session.
Pacey carries Joey to his bed and mentions that as she had surmised earlier, he never did get over her. In her drunken state, she remembers they never kissed during the game of spin the bottle. She kisses him before falling asleep, and Pacey sits down on a nearby chair.
Jane was an American magazine created to appeal to the women who grew up reading Sassy magazine; Jane Pratt was the founding editor of each. Its original target audience (pitched to advertisers) was aged 18–34, and was designed to appeal to women who did not like the typical women's magazine format. Pratt originally intended the magazine to be named Betty, but she was voted down by everyone else.
There is no Toni Stark that I could find, associated with Spielberg. Difficult to research with the name Tony Stark and Spielberg together.
Alicia Coppola was Toni Stark. She has played recurring characters in many shows, such as Why Women Kill, Empire, Blood & Treasure, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Young and the Restless, Another World (127 episodes), Jericho (a small town in Kansas is literally left in the dark after seeing a mushroom cloud over nearby Denver, Colorado. The townspeople struggle to find answers about the blast and solutions on how to survive), and American Dreams (60’s drama). She led the series Bull, which was about stockbrokers and starred Ian Kahn (Danny the cook). She did appear in episode 1 of Star Trek Voyager, but died quickly and was replaced by Tom Paris (Robert Duncan McNeil who directed many Dawson’s Creek episodes). There are many movies under her belt as well, such as The Perfect Getaway (a lady hires a guy to fly her in a helicopter but she forces him to land in a prison and break someone out of it, causing them to go on the run as the guys girlfriend tries to find him), Velocity Trap (a cop framed for murder is the only one not in cryosleep when a team of thieves boards the armored treasury spaceship he's on to steal its load), National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and Black Widow (TV movie; a photo journalist begins to suspect her best friend Danny's new love interest could be linked to the murders of wealthy men, with Elizabeth Berkeley of Saved by the Bell fame).
Gus was played by Esteban Powell. He got his start in Dazed and Confused, but it wasn’t until Bone Chillers that he got his lead role. Bone Chillers was a series about the spooky, sometimes even funny, misadventures of a gang of schoolchildren who encounter any number of strange happenings in their school and hometown. Later he would lead the movie Random Acts of Violence (a young man new in town is drawn into the super wealthy scene of Los Angeles and the Russian Mafia, finding that his wealth cannot protect him and his friends from the retribution coming their way), Hitman’s Run (a hit man double crosses the crime family he worked for and goes into witness protection), Paper Cut (three friends launch an indie newspaper but enter into a love triangle and the issues it results in), Bunny Whipped (a quirky romantic comedy that follows the interweaving story of a sports writer and a rap star) and Shiloh Falls (a western tale good vs evil). He also played Phil Collen in the Def Leppard biopic. He was the lead in the series The Cleaner (a guy transforms his life by taking control over his addictions and using his story to help others), and was involved in four episodes of Simian Undercover Detective Squad.
The front desk lady was Elaine Nalee. We’ve seen her in Dawson’s Creek before as Mr. Brookes nurse and PTA Board Member #2 with Mr. Green. Other than various bit roles, she was a little higher up in Find Love (story of two strangers who aren't looking for love but find it anyway). She does have a part in Surface as Teacher #2. She was also The Mashed Potato Lady in Muppets From Space. Her latest role was Jane the helpful neighbor in Halloween Kills.
R. Keith Harris was the counselor. He was in Surface as Dr. Meyers. Most of his roles have him just below the fold, but he was just above it in Fall Down Dead (a movie about the Picasso Killer terrorizing a city), and Lost Stallion (a Mickey Rooney film about a family that goes to a special treatment ranch to deal with the death of the husband and father of their family). He was a lead in the movie Wesley (1700’s self righteous Oxford instructor goes to Georgia to preach to Indians, last mentioned in the episode True Love). He was also Harlan Carson in 7 episodes of The Walking Dead. He’s still working today, appearing in 5 of the 8 episodes of Dopesick.
Sardines is an active game that is played like hide and go seek — only in reverse! One person hides, and everyone else searches for the hidden person. Whenever a person finds the hidden person, they quietly join them in their hiding spot. Soon, the hidden group starts to look like a bunch of sardines!
There was a post from tachyon reporting that Variety announced the 2-hour finale and he said that he was glad. The finale is said to do a time jump leaving the door open for just about anything. The only response was someone lamenting not seeing more of Amy the critic.
In a separate but related post Boss5sr posted: I am seriously a little surprised that Dawson's Creek is ending after this season. I mean, I saw it coming a while ago, but I thought that maybe the WB try and save the show for atleast another year by offering more money.
It's a sad, sad day. I'm highly upset. I've been watching the show since I was a Senior in high school. I'm now 22. I have every episode and SOOOO many interviews with the cast. God, I can't believe it's been six years.
I'm going to miss watching the show and going to North Carolina to be an extra. My friends and I are going to try and have a little party when the show is over. I'm so sad now... IT MUST BE SAVED!

Surprisingly, Holmes did admit that this may not be the final season of Dawson’s Creek after all. “No decisions have been made.”
tachyon responded: I believe that this is just Katie following orders. Until the network makes up their mind on whether to cancel, they're kind of obligated to say that the show might return. BUT...All of the actor's contract's expire at the end of the season and they've all said that they don't want to return. So unless the network seriously puts up their salaries, I can't imagine that they'd sign another year of their lives away to a sinking show. I *personally* think that the show should end at the end of this season. Because if they keep going, it's only going to get worse, not better. End it while they still have a little bit of dignity left, rather than none
