On June 20, 2024, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos hosted the Beverly Hills restricted premiere at the Beverly Gardens Park. The City of Beverly Hills issued a proclamation honoring Detective Axel Foley. Mayor Lester Friedman presented the honor to Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Director Mark Molloy, and star Eddie Murphy. Afterwards, the invitation-only guests viewed the film at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Santa Monica Boulevard.
