Synopsis:
Fargo freaks out trying to deal with General Mansfield since he doesn’t know all the details of what the general asks about. Allison explains to him that Mansfield’s latest request deals with the non lethal weapon division, under Dr. Parrish. As he and Jo head down to talk with him, they notice many employees seem scared of Fargo. Parrish and Zane push back against Fargo because they know their work isn’t ready for demonstration yet but reluctantly try, trying to use a weapon to calm down angry bees but nothing happens. Fargo leaves, yelling at them to fix it all. Later, Fargo finds another non lethal weapon in the hallway which explodes and covers him in a strong immovable glue against the wall. Jack agrees to look into the situation with Jo and figure out who left the weapon out.
At Cafe Diem, Jack is trying to walk the minefield of Tess being excited about moving in. Trevor notices his discomfort and calls him on it but fails to take responsibility for the fact that all of their problems are his direct fault.
At Henry’s, Trevor asks him to work with him on trying to get the machine working again, finally convincing him. They do make some progress until suddenly, Henry’s tools start disappearing every time they touch them. They go through theory after theory about what could be happening until Grace comes in later and reveals that it was all a prank to get back at her husband after alt timeline Henry magnetized all of her pots and pans previously. They laugh about it but Trevor notes that Henry seems to be having a crush on his wife.
Jack questions Zane in Cafe Diem but Zane gets very angry and storms off angrily. Jo manages to get a confession out of Parrish while Allison coaches Fargo on how to build bridges between the workers of GD. When he attempts it however, Parrish’s eyes flash red and he gets extremely angry and starts berating Fargo who he himself also gets angry and gives it right back to him. Jo orders a lockdown and quarantine as everyone is taken for tests. Jo theorizes the problem was Dr. Anson who had earlier spilled some red liquid on the floor after bumping into Fargo. They confront him and he goes full on roid rage as Jo subdues him but she shows signs of feeling the unexplained anger as well. They later find out that the liquid he spilled wasn’t a toxin but alcohol, having been driven to drink at work due to alt Fargo‘s timelines and aggressive schedules.
Tess is called in to help Allison with the testing and she confides in her about feeling that something is off with Jack when she and thought they were on the same page. Later, Allison talks with Jack, telling him he needs to talk with Tess about things.
As the rage fever spreads, the entire staff starts yelling and acting aggressively, destroying company property, trying to break into Fargo’s office, and even burning effigies of him. Jo and Fargo both get super aggressive towards Jack and Allison but Jack manages to talk them down slightly for the moment. Jo manages to subdue Zane and he and Parrish are bound and secured in the infirmary.
Tess, Jack, and Fargo go to Parrish‘s lab and discover that the bee experiment was not set correctly and caused them to get angry instead of calm and when they boosted its signal to try and get it working, the beam inadvertently affected all of GD. Tess manages to reverse the process while Jack uses Fargo as bait to draw the rage zombies away from Alison and Jo. Tess activates the cure and everyone starts finally calming down.
Parrish and Fargo sort of make up. Jack and Jo share a moment reaffirming their friendship and partnership and then he heads home to the bunker where he tells Tess that they aren’t going to work out and that she should go to Australia, something she is surprised he knew about. She leaves, tearful.
Advanced Research:
Dr. Parrish was played by Wil Wheaton. He is likely best known as the boy who could do it all, Wesley Crusher, on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He had some random TV appearances before Trek, like Highway to Heaven and St. Elsewhere. He appeared in several movies such as Stand By Me, Toy Soldiers, and The Curse (with his sister Amy). He left Star Trek to pursue bigger opportunities that didn't happen right away. He was in a movie called Mr. Stitch with Rutger Hauer and Ron Jeremy (Doctor Rue Wakeman and his team create a young man with skin and organs taken from other men and women. The creature, Lazarus, reads a lot of books and learns all about the humans. But when he meets fascinating Doctor Elizabeth English, his life changes, and he decides to escape from the laboratory). He did voices for Teen Titans (Aqualad), Naruto, Legion of Superheroes (Cosmic Boy), Ben 10 (Mike Morningstar), Batman: The Brave and the Bold (Ted Kord, Blue Beetle), and he was the voice of Perceptor in Transformers: Power of the Primes. He also made an uncredited voice appearance in the JJ Abrams Star Trek as a Romulan. He did become a main cast member in the webseries The Guild with Felicia Day (online gamers actually meet in real life). He played a twisted version of himself in The Big Bang Theory, and had a popular online show called Tabletop. Most recently, he appeared in the Big Bang Theory spinoff Stuart Fails To Save The Universe. Nowadays, he is known as a writer/producer of all things geek, and is a well-respected narrator of audiobooks. He stunned everyone when he revealed the abuse he had endured as a child on the set of many productions and has been a very vocal advocate of mental health.

Synopsis:
Jack heads off to visit Zoe at college, bringing along a care package from Vincent and Pilar. Zoe and her lab partner have a cat they were using for their project and who happens to get into the care package while Zoe and Jack go out for food. When they return, they can’t find the cat because it accidentally activated Pilar’s spray bottle that allows fabric to match the appearance of other fabrics. On the cat’s fur, it ends up making the cat invisible and difficult to catch. Zoe gets frustrated that her dad just showed up, especially with her plans she had to attend a party, and she tells her dad that he should have called because she has her own life now. He tells her to go to the party while he tries to catch the cat. He soon realizes that the spray washes off and when Zoe returns, having decided to skip the party, they manage to trap the cat in the shower and wash it off. The two apologize to each other and leave on better terms than ever.
Meanwhile in Eureka, a rocket race to the moon competition begins and many excited young students launch their rockets under the watchful eye of General Mansfield. Zane ends up crashing a prototype flying motorcycle which causes Mansfield to order him fired but Zane’s insistence he wasn’t drunk, and Jo’s feelings for him cause her to go to bat for him, keeping there until they can finish an investigation.
Another scientist, Dr. Ramsey, reports that his supply of TAP, terraforming atmospheric processing fluid, a way of producing breathable air from rocks and soil for use on other planets, has gone missing. Zane is the obvious culprit due to the TAP being capable of getting one super high but he denies it. Henry and Fargo inspect the prototype remains and find that the fuel tank is completely drained. Jo enlists Deputy Andy, complete with a newly made body and face, to find some birds that may have been affected the same way Zane was when he crashed. He ends up finding out that metal beams at the crash site are all super corroded and he has somehow started to catch on fire himself.
Jo talks with Zane and he questions why she seems so intent on helping him. She tells him she doesn’t want him to be that guy who ends up back in prison, but he says she is wasting her time. She lets him go but as she heads out to her car, Zane is there waiting for her. As they drive together to find Andy, they suddenly start to feel drowsy and pass out. Deputy Andy is there when they wake up and he pushes them back to town, rather than start up the car, because the area has so much oxygen that it’s in danger of exploding.
Allison’s tests reveal that Zane somehow has an excess of oxygen in his system, indicating hyperoxia and could result in blindness, something that happened to the birds that died.
At Cafe Diem, the town is betting on whose rocket will reach the moon first with Kevin’s in the lead, despite Allison’s earlier worry that he wasn’t going to do well. Trevor watches the race with interest and asks Kevin about how he came up with his rocket solution. Trevor goes to Allison later and explains that what Kevin made seemingly goes against the rules of the competition.
They realize that the TAP would work as a rocket fuel if it was irradiated at the right frequency and given that Fargo and company had changed the frequencies up, and that the TAP is self expanding, they’re in danger of causing a giant explosion.
They talk with Kevin about the rocket and he denies using the TAP which is when Alison reveals that she did it, hoping to help him be successful. Henry and Fargo activate the rockets’ self-destruct codes in order to avoid the explosion but one rocket keeps coming: Larry’s rocket, in which he did not include a self-destruct module due to it being too heavy and wanting to win the race. Trevor asks Allison why she did it and she admits it was a lapse in judgement and is having trouble adjusting to the new Kevin and just wanted things to go right.
Kevin comes up with a solution to release hydrogen balloons into the air in order to mix with the extra oxygen and create rain after the explosion occurs. Mansfield threatens to remove Fargo from the position of head of GD. As everyone waits to see if Kevin’s plan works, Zane calls Jo his old nickname for her of JoJo and she catches a glimpse of the Zane she knew. Luckily they all soon see that Kevin’s plan works perfectly. Unfortunately, Larry’s rocket is still heading back to Eureka and ends up hitting Jo’s house.
Jack returns from his college visit and invites Jo to stay with him at the bunker.
Advanced Research:
Jill Blotevogel has had a long career going back to the late 90’s. Some highlights include the Tin Man mini series, and adaptation of The Wizard of Oz that starred Zooey Deschanel, and she developed and wrote Scream: The TV Series.
Dr. Ramsey was played by Jamie Kennedy, once the host of his self titled prank show, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment. He’s probably best known for the Scream series of films as Randy Meeks. Other credits include James Gunn’s The Specials, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Dr. Doolittle 2. He was a lead role in Jennifer Love Hewitt’s The Ghost Whisperer as Professor Eli James for 45 episodes, The Cleveland Show as Federline Jones, and about half of the 52 episodes of Fanboy and Chum Chum (two kids dress up as superheroes and cause havoc, animated, David Hornsby and Nika Futterman). He was also in Tremors 5: Bloodline and Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, and most recently he was in the movie Portal in the Pines (a rural fireman discovers that a secret particle collider has opened a portal to hell).
Deputy Andy is now played by Kavan Smith, best known as Major Evan Lorne from Stargate: Atlantis. He was also in Mission to Mars with Sliders star Jerry O’Connell. He has done his fair share of Hallmark style movies, and was in 2 episodes of Dirk Gently. He had a recurring role in the series Rogue (an undercover detective, tormented by the possibility that her actions contributed to a tragedy, infiltrates a crime syndicate), and half of the 40-some episodes of The 4400. Most recently, he was in 134 episodes (of 158) of When Calls The Heart with Elizabeth Thatcher (a young schoolteacher from a wealthy Eastern family, migrates from the big city to teach school in a small coal mining town in the west).
Jake was played by Keenan Tracey. He has had a few minor roles, such as Gunner in the Bates Motel series, several episodes of The 100, and a TV miniseries called Rogue Files: Reparation (no synopsis available).
