Our Favourite Trivia:

I don't really know the budget for this one but it's pretty low.

Small theatrical run in March 2009 before getting a DVD release in April.

The director Robert Green Hall was a VFX artist who owned Almost Human VFX. He was really known well for his work on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Angel, Buffy, Firefly, Vacancy, Quarantine 2, No One Lives, and Superbad . He also made a film called The Lightning Bug.

Lena Heady and Thomas Dekker were both in The Sarah Connor Chronicles

He passed away suddenly in 2021.

Shot in Maryland including at the Crownsville hospital centre.

24 day shoot from April to May 2008.

Bobbi Sue Luther, who was married to the director at the time, was a native to the area and was able to scope around and use her connections to get locations.

They did their best to save on the budget. Chromeskull’s car was the director’s rental and the car at the end of the film was the production designer's.

What's Up Next?

The rampage continues with ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2.
